A 53-year-old woman and her dog were attacked there last Friday. Most locals probably know of it already, but since you're here... I rode around Tempo Park just the day before this attack, riding the wide concrete path that circles the park, and in and out of the park at various cul-de-sac access points, making good use of an hour before my LBS opened. I was lucky. The TV news report said that pit bull had been spotted running loose many times before, without a leash or apparent owner. Too bad. It seems to be a nice little park. I mean, except for the pit bull.
