I got my new Trek 2100 a weed ago and managed to put a few miles on it. It is a very smooth ride. The new third generation OCLV carbon fork and stays are new for this year and has made a really nice bike for this price range. I have been riding an older Trek 1200 with a steel fork and downtube shifters. This bike was still a good ride, but the upgrade to carbon and STI shifters have been well worth it. The 105/Ultegra drive train is very smooth and efficient. Even after a wet ride full of hills I am very pleased. I originally ordered a Felt F60, but due to shipping problems with felt I changed my order to the 2100 and am glad I did.
