This (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23015839/) my foo friends, is an informative article. :thumb:
"John McDougall, a 38-year-old medical student from Bozeman, Mont., says that while he’s never formerly advertised his “dishiness,” he has noticed it scores major points. "
formerly?
I knew it. My wife DOES just love me because I do the dishes/catbox/trash/laundry/bathroom/sweeping/mopping/dusting/cooking/grocery shopping/windows/vacuuming.

Doing dishes is like meditation. I'm almost always the designated dishwasher, which is fine by me.
It does not get chicks like changing a flat, though. Chicks dig tire irons.

I load, run and unload the dishwasher. Does that count?

I'm really glad I got a dishwasher. She does help me with some of those other chores on occasion too. :p
Doing dishes isn't so bad. It's actually reasonably fun and relaxing.
Lies.
The only thing doing dishes and laundry got me, was more dishes and laundry.

"Hey handsome, what's that sexy aftershave I'm smelling?"
"Dawn Dishwashing Liquid."
"Oh. Goodbye."

There was a time when I did ALL the housework (except for the vacuuming). Dishes, groceries laundry etc...
I still do the dishes these days...I wish my sister had a dishwasher (other than me) of course.:p

I aways do the laundry. Want to make sure my biking stuff gets done right. :thumb:

 There is truth to this. If I find out the guy can and does cook, or is willing to do dishes if I cook, AND can clean, seriously ups his attractiveness! Yay, for 'dishy' men! :thumb:

I (usually) clean the house and I can cook. Before I moved in with The Girl, she informed me of one simple fact: "I don't clean, but I like my place to be clean. If you don't want to clean it, I will continue to pay someone to come and clean."
Depending on how busy we both are with work, we've bounced between me keeping things clean or having a service come in once a week to take care of things. I'm kinda particular about my stuff, so I try to keep up with it on my own. I don't like other people moving my stuff around. The girl knows this, so that's her 'kick in the pants' to get me to clean: All she has to do is tell me she's schedulling the service to come back, and I'll spend a whole weekend cleaning the place.

American own a lot of crap, and so have my gf's. When I live alone, I'm pretty zen, and cleaning is fast and frequent. I get kind of weary of houses crammed full of things that need attention. No, I'm not going to dust her knicknacks just to get into her knickers. If I had a gf with lots of crap who would pay for the cleaning service, I'd opt for the cleaning service. A French maid would be nice.
I do dishes and lawn care and the feeding of the pets. I find it most interesting to watch the gecko eat crickets, then the fish eating flake and then the dog eating dry kibble. Really never watch the dog eat, mainly just hear her crunching away at times. Wife does laundry.

That IS doing the dishes.

It is not! You also have to hand wash the stem ware, pans, etc. as well as wipe down the counters.

Incorrect. Stemware and pans fit in the dishwasher.
Not sure what happens to the counter:p

The french maid buffs it. :innocent:
I iron my own shirts. I'll do my wife's ironing too. She's a lovely, smart, capbable woman but she can't iron worth a damn.
