Out of curiousity what width drop bars do most manufacturers install on their bikes??? I would assume the smaller sizes have a 40 and when you get up into the 58cm and up maybe a 44-46cm handlebar??? I don't know and would like to get a general consensus. What is the most standard size sold, 44cm???

Can you tell I'm bored?

i'd guess 42, but who knows?

or course ride what feels best, but general rule of thumb is to measure the width of your body at your shoulders and get bars in that size. err on the side of larger bars.

it's kind of weird to me that many bikes don't come with pedals, but do come with stems and bars (or stems, at least).

small sizes are 36-38. Med are 40-44, Large 44-48.

42 is std on most factory bikes.
