Shipping will be from the US. I think they'll fit in the flat rate boxes from the USPS, probably about $5-$15 or so.

If it's your first build I would recommend you stick with a normal lacing and let someone else figure out what length spokes you need.

Any chance the XR-300 is the same or has the same measurements (ERD?) as the XR-320?
Xero Wheels' XLR Airy model uses the RB68/RB210 hubs with XR-320 rims, and states spoke lengths on their info page -

I don't think so - or else there's something else wrong - I believe I used 274 mm for a front radial spoked Formula/KinLin. I believe the 'Airy' has hidden nipples.

holy crap im so interested... very very nice lmk... would love a great sturdy all around light set...
im about 155-160 .... i ususally ride 20/24s... but im thinking either doing 24/28 or 20/28? radial fronts... 2x/1x or radial nds rears?
also would like to know discount on the nio rims if possible...

FYI, the hubs are available in either the dog-bone configuration, or a more standard, single hole configuration. The single-hole locations are the same as the dog-bone ones, though, so the spoke lengths will be slightly longer than otherwise indicated. I'll see if I can come up with a better rule of thumb than the 0.17; at a minimum we'll be able to give good numbers for the KinLin's.
If the KinLin rims (25mm tub ones in my case) can be had at the same time for a discount I might be interested there. I'll almost definitely use them even if not through you/this group buy, so spoke lengths would be very useful anyhow!

This probably does not bode well for my future build, but what is the difference in the dog-bone / standard config? What are the relative advantages of each?

Dog bone will allow you to use bladed spokes that are wider than standard spoke holes.

Nice to know that you can cget them un-dog boned. Advantage would be less material out of the flange. Also not sure how the slot plays as a stress riser.
Wish the holes could be equidistant though....:(
I too build radial (2 so far) at 24 hole with the kinlin 30mm rims using 274. Work perfect....but they should. The front is normal drilling.

Volunteers? Hello? Anyone?
I'll put together a list of what I know works when I get done with my current builds.
I'd have to check what I ran on my DT swiss rims....

I am tentatively in for a 20/24 set of traditional holed hubs. Perhaps 1 or 2 other sets as well...

I'm working on the rims; but it's going to be a week or two before I know anything. May have something for the spokes; may end up just getting mine from wheelbuilder. Haven't really thought about it yet.
I still don't have anywhere near enough deposits for the hubs - I think we're up to four. Spokes (OK, non-bladed spokes) are cheap, I'm not worried about it yet.

Nice to know that you can cget them un-dog boned.
Just a recommendation to everyone - if you plan on running smaller bladed spokes (CX-rays) or normal round spokes, get the normal-holed hub version, especially if you're running a shallower angle, like a 1X or 2X build.
I don't particularly recommend wide-bladed spokes, but if you're going to use them, you need to get the dog-boned hubs.

I can't seem to find the lengths used. I thought I had them around here somewhere.
I'll put something together and we'll have a good number on the spoke length before everything's done.

If you don't mind,
What is the MRSP of a set of these hubs?
Thanks

No idea if there even is an MSRP, but oddsandendos sells them for $129 and $59, for a total of $188.

Hub replacements: price not up to (down to?) expectations: $62 for ti innards, $39 for steel innards. Perhaps Formula's getting annoyed with my endless questions.
Edit: these are for replacement freehubs.

No, those are if you want to buy a replacement freehub, like Psimet expressed interest in.

Perhaps a daft question, but if replacements can come with steel or Ti innards, which do the original hubs (which we would be getting) have inside? I'm hoping for Ti...
Also, do they come with QRs? Makes no difference to me, but always good to know.

Originals have Ti. Allegedly comes with QR but I haven't asked directly.

I'm still in -- just waiting to see if I owe you an extra dollar (on the Floyd appeal bet).
Just to be sure, though:
I want Shimano 8/9/(10) speed, with normal (not dog-bone) drilling, 28/24. Doable, yes?
Hello El Juaqimo,

Sorry I'm a little behind on this, guys -
1. Track hubs: what hub are you interested in?
2. Freehubs: please send me 100% of freehub money. Sorry, but I don't think I can sell them quickly, like I could quickly sell the hubs.
2. Everyone else: it's not too late. I'll try to PM you all. If you haven't gotten anything by 3:00 please let me know.

I just sent the deposit.
As for track hubs, I guess I would be most interested in the TH20/22 low flange models, but I guess most people are into the high flange Th50/52 models which would suit me just fine too.

I am very interested...please PM me as well. I would want 24/28 with standard holes and a Campy freehub. Also interested in matching Niobium30 (Kinlin XR300 or whatever they are) rims if the price is right.
Thanks for getting this together.

same... 12th hour performance.. i just sent in deposit for 2 sets.... now lets get KINLIN RIMS!!!!

Shimano 10 has higher notches in the freehub body to stop the alloy freehub body from being cut up by the cassette. Shimano 8/9/10 has the normal pattern. Sram uses the 8/9/10 pattern, so if you want to use a Sram cassette, you should go for that model. Otherwise, you could always use a Shimano cassette with the correct shape; but I think these are Dura Ace only.

I don't want to push too much but if you're going to look into the Kinlin rims, could you also price their 25mm tubular rim please? I'd be interested in a set of those in addition to a set of 30mm clinchers.

No one's too late yet.
In fact, I unfortunately received a note from Formula today saying that they've raised their prices about $15 a set.
But we have 21 or so deposits right now so we might still be OK; I imagine I'll be trading a couple more e-mails back and forth. Hopefully we could get another few deposits and hold the line on costs so we don't have to try again.

, but the information on the track hubs is scarce - I was semi-considering such a hub for myself.
really?
try searching the ss/fg forum. there is tonnes of info, reviews on the track hubs.
the short version: forumula hubs are fantastic, best bang for the buck hubs there are.

I've made quite a few sets with the Formulas, and they seem to hold up fine.
Not over enthusiastic 'bout the small bearings in front, but rear is nice :)
Got the same 6803 bearings as you see in many other hubs
I've even made a few carbon sets with them
