Anyone going to be there? I'll be in the 4/5 race at 9:30AM. Just got my bike back from the shop after the crash at Grafton and I'm good to go!

Does anyone know what the course is like?

I did it last year. It was nice. The course winds thru a very cool neighborhood. Good pavement, but as I remember, there was a bit of a dropoff from pavement to grass. Exiting the first turn is a mailbox on the left side which you don't wanna hit. Very gentle uphill to the first turn, and a gradual downhill on the backside. Cool course for sure

That's my team's race. So of course, I'll be there. Racing 3s and taking your money. (at registration)

Yo. Will be there all day.

Any current info on Sunday's race in Fond du Lac? No flyer posted on the WCA page. Schedule? Directions?

(Grafton 3's, Masters 3/4 uploading now)

There's an email address. I'll send a message asking for details if nothing's posted by tomorrow.

Damn....I have to miss it again and it's in my back yard for cryin' out loud!

A.M.--Cedarburg for the Strawberry Festival
Afternoon--Personal appearance for work in Saukville. Oh well, at least it's easy money for upgrades on my bike I guess.

I'm starting to think you have a life outside cycling. That's weird.

I'll be at fondy, but I probably won't be at elm grove.

I hate to even say this because the last few times I have it's backfired on me and I never made it, but I'm going to try to get out and watch some. Probably be later in the afternoon for the Masters 30+1/2/3 as I think that's where my neighbor is racing (assuming he's racing this week) -- and of course the 3s to check out Recursive.

But now that I said it . . . . :(

Regarding Fondy: I just realized that this race is put on by Attitude sports, the same store that's run by Dave Haase, the second place (?) finisher of this year's Race Across America. No mention of this race on their web page.

Yeah, although for some reason it is in the back of my head that they were really late with their flyer for last year's race too . . . but I don't know why I would even remember that . . . who knows.

You'll probably not want to show up. It was canceled.

Recursive - what is the route for Saturday? Is there a map somewhere online?

Thanks! I'll be glad to give me 20 dollars to you on Saturday - that's a steal for a race!

Closest races on Sunday are Peoria and Indianapolis, each 5 hours one way for me. Nothing else going on either (Tri, running, Wisport) except for a canoe race here and there. Is there a 'Super Century' ride somewhere??? :( Am I missing a holiday on Sunday?

Oh well, see 'yall in Elm Grove! :thumb:

Here ya go (http://www.mapmyride.com/route/us/wi/elm%20grove/519046840) (or at least this was the route two years ago . . . I assume its the same this year).

Edit: DOH! I was like 2 seconds too late!

Yours does have elevation.

Although there's not much to see. Most of the features in the graph seem like they're probably noise.

Oh! It's right by the Brookfield Square Mall. They should run you boys up the big climb on Bluemound Rd. That would be a race I'd pay to see. :roflmao2:

Yeah, I think its really off . . . I don't think there are that many elevation changes on that course. As I recall, its uphill headed up woodland on the back and downhill on the front straight.
