I've been having issues with my wrist/hands (which still haven't been diagnosed, not too much fun on that front) so I cant ride all 500 pounds of my “big bike” and going in town isnt into practical with a car. While searching on the Internet today. I found a story about electric bikes, which led me to do some research, and I eventually finding this forum :thumb:

Now for the bike, I probably could get help with assembly so a kit is a possibility, the bike being used would be my old Schwinn mountain bike (it's a Mesa from about 1997, still in great condition, though) but a full bike would work too.

The basic goals are for it to be able to take me to Harvard Square, which is about 5 miles each way, or preferably to Brookline, which is another two or 3 miles. Lighter would be better, but I can sacrifice a little bit of that for range. And the biggest obstacle of all is I'm still a student, so price is a huge concern, around 500 would be the max, but the cheaper the better :ride:
