Stopped in at the LBS right by work to have my bike get its post break-in tune up. My god, these bikes are beautiful.:love::love: The shop's focus is primarily racing and a front full of Italian road bikes is quite the sight to behold. You just want to hop on and see if they are as fast as they look!
I've only been into this for 1 1/2 months and I have SERIOUS road bike fever. Someone make it stop!!!!

The bike lust will never stop. Even if you have the best bike on the market you will want something else, it only gets worse.

Hmmm, the two bike shops near me are not my cup of tea. One deals mostly in recreational stuff or or tri-athlon and fitness cycles with as few spokes as possible. The other is mostly mountain bike territory. Limited selection at both. One is Trek and Giant, the other Raleigh and Specialized. However, there is an old boy who has a repair shop not far away. Gets a few old school bikes in. I keep stopping in hoping for a find, maybe one of the older touring bikes to pair with my 1983 Nishiki Cresta. Those are the bikes that make me drool...of course, I could go crazy of any Paramount, road or track.

The Wilier caught my eye when my son scarfed some surgeons stash of BicyclePro (English version of Bicycle mag..but much much better)while I was recouping from double bypass last november.
Gorgeous bike.(Yeah, being old school I love the traditional frame and if I could I'd have one of those Ti's with the Sculpted SS Lugs)
Wayyyy beyond my fixed income
So when I began to drool over the pearl white monocoque motobecane imortal force on bikesdirect for $1595. my susan went out and ordered it for me..darn good woman!
If you want to fall in love with art find a vintage bike show that's featuring Hetchins bikes..
I have to admit, making the LBS (with the Look CFs in the windows)a mid point stop on my winter walks, made rehabing a lot easier:o)
