Anyone have any experience with these? I've been looking for a steel frame to build up but I don't know anything about these frames. I was considering a Specialized Allex Cr-Mo frame but Surly is about $150-$200 cheaper. What do you guys think? Any suggestions on alternatives?

have you checked out SOMA bikes?

http://www.somafab.com/smoothiepix.html I think they're in the same price range, but the 631 tubing might be better than the 4230.

there also is carbon fork option. :)
