What do you all know about Iro? Somehow stumbled upon them today and they have them for CHEAP right now. Something about decals missing and clearing them out.

I am in no way affiliated with Iro besides thinking of buing one. Actually I'd like to wait for their steel frame that they claim is coming. Maybe. Really I need another bike like I need spare toes right now.
Anyway, anybody have any experience with them?

I think xcutterx and/or isotopesope have one of these frames. May want to PM them to see. I personally am not a fan of Aluminium frames...

i ride an aluminum iro. it's stiff and light, as i suppose aluminum frames generally are. i really like it quite a bit, for the most part. it went together without a problem. the headset pressed in nicely and the bb installed smoothly. there is no flex at the bb either. the steertube is 1.125". one thing that sucks is that the rear is 130 spacing. the track ends are super long, which would be nice if you were running a flip/flop set up. another thing i don't like is the cable stops that are brazed on. i would prefer the cleaner look without them... of course, i guess those setting it up with rear brakes would appreciate them. the geometry definitely isn't track, but is aggressive enough. i don't think i would want a track bike for commuting. another thing that sucks is that the ugly white paint chips SUPER easy. i powdercoated mine. hiyah!

Yea, the 130 spacing is what kept me from buying one right away. Had they been 120 I would have had some explaining to do to my wife.
I'd like to see one of the new steel frames that they have coming, supposed to be 120. I might NEED one of those. :)

The Mark V is CrMo and has 120mm spacing and whatnot. Seems to have more of a road geometry though. (Not necessarily a bad thing..)

I see their frames on Ebay all the time for dirt cheap, I wondered about em myself.
