The bad news -- my CR-V made the list of the only 9 cars that sell more to women than to men.

The good news -- it's pretty close to 50/50, and CR-V is near last place in this list.

These kinds of articles/lists are so entirely stupid. Look, buy what you like, don't worry about what genders/races/colors/classes it's popular with.

To pick a separate nit: It lists the "Volkswagen Beetle" as #2. The Beetle hasn't been sold here since about 1979, and hasn't been sold anywhere since about 2003. The pictured vehicle is a "New Beetle", which is completely different.

All those cars are ugly.

the pink Enzo isnt owned by Bape, all bape cars have some sort of 2 tone finish which the enzo does not

Proof at last. I bought my wife a convertible for her birthday, and it ended up being the Eos. She refuses to believe that it's a bit chicky. That said, the Eos is a great car.

Really! Course in real-world if I had to have a vehicle and only because I had a big distance to travel to work - I'd have some fuel saving dinker winker thing.

And in Imaginary world - it would be some big fun toys around the 60's (and late 50's) to early 70's. Sigh. I love car shows ...

My first car was a pea green '72 Mustang Mach I. Lovely greeny big arse 8 cylinder thing that screwed - and was a piece of poo in the winter (all the weight was in the front end). :D

Interestingly, I saw a different list of the top 10 chick cars, and the Honda Fit was at the top of the list. According to that list, 80% of the buyers are women.

On the list cited in the original post, it's interesting that only the top 3 cars are purchased by females 55% of the time or more. If the percentage is only in the low 50's, that really doesn't seem to be significantly off from an even split.

No wonder they're chick cars...I couldn't fit in most of them.
