I'm planning to buy another bike (damn 2 months after I brought my last bike!), and I have my eye on this one

the owner says it's a Trek 720 Multi-Track. But it doenst exactly look like a 720. It more like a hardtail mountain bike to me. Does anybody know exactly what it is?

The frame appears to be what he claims, but it looks like a Frankenbike wearing 27" wheels off of some other bike. caveat emptor...

That is a Trek 720, which were hybrids with 700c wheels.

Thanks, just wanted to confirm. I was planning to use this bike as a parts bike, but seeing how much better condition it is compared to my current bike (and it probably fit me better seeing how it's a bit taller) I think I may just found myself a new commuter. Then again, knowing my luck, this is just a picture of the good side; while the other side is pure rust.
