Hi,

I Am Trying To Figure Out Which Bike I Should Get!?? I Am Getting Quite Frustrated :-\

I Was Leaning Towards Getting A Hybrid But From Economic Reason's I Thought Of Getting A Comfort Bike. My Intent Is To Ride My Bike 2-4 Times A Week With A Straight Shot 5.9 Mile Commute; However, There Is 1 Kinda Steep Hill I Have To Go Down Coming Into Work And Up When Leaving Work...any Insight Would Be Much Appreciated.

You really like caps don't you? Check Craigslist for used hybrids or road bikes and you will find something. Go for a test ride before buying.

You might try a fit calculator (http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO) to get an idea for frame size.

If all you're gonna do is 6 mile commute, go get an older rigid frame mtb and put slicks and a rack on it. It'll be inexpensive, reliable, and sturdy, and will be an excellent commuter.

dday 22, consider the possibility you'll enjoy riding so much that commuting won't satisfy your riding fix. Unless you're open to owning (i.e., buying) more than one bike, I'd recommend thinking twice and maybe three times before preferring a comfort bike over a hybrid or a mountain bike. Either of the latter would be more versatile than a comfort bike.

For 6 miles each way, 2-4 times a week, pretty much any sort of bicycle will do. As you get into cycling more, and start riding longer and more, then you might want to look at something else.

if you want comfort buy a beach cruiser with a spring seat,if you want lower back problems buy a hybrid or mountain(do you live in the mountains?)
