Road Bike Racing - Ways to crash a Vespa rider

Sorry couldn't help but ask after reading Today's BSNYC (http://bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com/2008/06/from-tour-to-torrid-its-getting-ugly.html) and comments.

If a Scooter rider crosses their front wheel with your back wheel whilst you're on a road bike - can you crash them? Or do they have too much weight on their front wheel?

Throw a CO2 cartridge into their spokes.
