Some familiar faces in there. Were the guys on the ground OK?
Was that an overlapped wheel?

From what I can tell it looks like the first guy's front wheel slipped out. I picked up the dude in the Cannondale kit and his hip was in bad shape but I think he only had a slight arm fracture, I don't know about the other guys.

This guy (Arron's team) crashed himself out solo towards the end of the race but managed to make it to the road race the next day.

Looked to me like he just slid out. There was a bit bigger of a gap in front of him, so maybe he grabbed some brake in there and lost the front wheel. The 2nd guy ended up overlapped as the first guy slid/slowed.

"Slight" arm fracture?
Is that like being "barely" dead?....or a "little" pregnant?

Would this be a result of grabbing back brake?

Yea, I laughed when the promoter told me that the day after. I figured he broke his pelvis or something major like that since he was in some serious pain. I'm sure he got a mean bone bruise nontheless.

It looks to me like his front wheel went out first. Certainly a back brake can hose you in a corner, and the front is usually safer.
This brings up a good point though. Even front brake in a corner is going to lead to a rear slide, not a front.
Maybe he just plain slid out. He must have done something sudden, because nobody else had any trouble with the corner that time through.
