I am stupid, but there was a camera, and so I had to do it...

Below my buddies place, is a 5 foot drop off, on to his driveway. It was dark, and there is 4 inches of fresh powdered snow, all we had was the light from the camera, and I went and dropped of this thing, that was fine, but the width of the driveway ended quick, and I was coming right at his bank on the other side of the road; I don't know what I was thinking, but my reaction was really dumb, and I am almost ashamed to post this, but for some unknown reason, I locked up both brakes!! I flew over my handle bars, and went down the ditch about 10 feet! Its dark, I can't see anything, and I am flying through the air! My friend had a similar accident right afterwards, and I lost my $15 fender, in the snow; guess we will have to wait for it to melt...man I am dumb.lol.

Next time fall to the side and do a side slide like they do on motor cycles. But really thats not too bad. Sounds like a bit of a rush.

Sounds like you're really taking advantage of the snow we're finally getting. They locked up our dorms for winter break, and I was dumb enough to leave my bike. So now I can't even go out and enjoy the snow on my bike because I can't get to it. Plenty of wide open parking lot to slide around on.

i tried something like that. my porch bench is about 4' up and there was a foot of snow. i tried to go off it, but it was icy and i got no speed. I nose dived and flipped over the handlebars. thank god powder is soft. i did it three more times and didn't land it once, but it was fun.

The last time it snowed I went down this huge hill(paved road) at the bottom of the hill was the entrance to the trail(the trail wasn't paved), I got a ton of speed then once I hit the snow(2') my front wheel got stuck and I flipped over my handle bars. Luckily I hit this mound of snow so it didnt hurt. It was actually kind of fun.

Damn I miss the snow :(
