in one of nsmb.com's updates on the 2003 interbike show they mentioned that dakine was supposed to have one for their 2004 mtb line. i've been checking their site to see if they've updated it cause i want to get my hands on one of these packs too. i'm not sure if it's got a reservoir though.

I have worn my helmet for 100% of the time for the last 10 yrs., but as of lately I've started leaving it in the Xterra. I haven't wrecked in the last 100 or so rides, so unless it's going to be a Hell Raising experience, I now leave my $60 helmet in the vehicle... Whether this is good advise to you is up to you.... DUH....

I wear mine almost all the time... I'm not sure it's such a good idea to not wear one.

Itīs not very comfortable to wear one of this helmets when you are going uphill for one or two hours. :)

I supppose uphill is a different story, but it's still always best to wear it. I'm not going to harp, though, because there are days when I don't feel like wearing mine. But sometimes I crash nasty on the most harmless of trails unexpectedly.. you never know.

nah, it's not the nomad. the pouch that holds the fullface isn't the same. it's got more rubber reinforcement. and it looks a lot more sturdier than the nomad.
i'd get this new pack. i like the option of being able to carry around a regular helmet for cruising around on the street on the way to the trails and still have my fullface with me... (i don't have a car and usually have to ride 30mins-1hr to get to the trails i ride).
