I have been running Avid BB7 mech. disc brakes for a few years on a modified mountain bike. I recently saw another option which is the Tektro Lyra which appears to be a substantially lighter design.
Has anyone tried the Lyra? Compared it to BB7s? Any opinions?
Finally Tektro's web site claims they are compatible with linear pull levers but most other sites show short pull road levers. Can anyone clarify?
