Great Lakes - Getting the right fit

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got a new bike for Father's Day and, following the suggestions of a lot of people, ended up visiting an LBS that specializes in precision fit. It was quite an experience. It cost $200 but lasted over two hours. I can't tell you how comfortable my bike now is.
Anyway, I did a video on it (I work in the media) and thought others might like to see it. It's posted on my clydesdalefitness.com (http://clydesdalefitness.com) blog

fun video! thanks for sharing.
I'm starting to think its about time for me to go in for a professional fit, but I just keep thinking "one more tweak here or there and I'll get it right..."

Glad you had such a great Father's Day and a good experience being fitted. Anything with lazers has to be worth whatever you paid for it, right!? Thanks for posting the video!

Nice video. Very useful.
Got my fit for free ... well, it did cost 10's of thousands of miles over 30 years, stiff necks, sore knees ... but it's good now. I currently have two road bikes and when I put them next to each other, the bars, pedals, and seat match exactly. If you get it right, riding that bike is like sitting in your favorite chair - well, almost :P
Spin on! :giver:
