Wombolts are teh worst cranks ever made, apart from phat widows.

You guys all need to get your "things" together. Wombolts are some of the best cranks there are, if not the best. Most of the destruction of those cranks dealt with older models and installation problems. They are completely safe and fine now and much better than your Powerbites. If someone offered you in a trade, do it immediately.

If I do it and they break, I'll beat you! Kidding. But I rarely hear about Powerbites having any problems compared to the Wombolts.

Holy ****, there shouldnt even be a question involved here, trade that primo garbage ASAP! Anyone who says wombolts suck is a ******, lets see you break them. How many broken wombolts has anyone heard of since they beefed up the spindle boss? my guess is none, maybe one or 2 at max. I havent heard of any, and i know alot of people that are riding them. I see alot of other cranks breaking. You don't ride nearly hard enough to break them, i guarantee you that.

How are the powerbites garbage? Everyone that has them said they last forever compared to other cranks. And I'm not sure what version the people had but I've heard at least 3 breaks since May. I'm not saying they're trash it is just sketchy..... people either say they're great or they're trash.

wombolts arent trash, the broken ones were because of the spindle boss being to thin. not to say noone has broken the updated ones, but that is to be expected from any crank, even profiles and primos break too. I can guarantee you its not something you'll have to worry about. Its not sketchy at all. and primo's arent garbage, im just not a primo fan. They are bulky, heavy and give mad ankle bite if you arent carefull. Not to say they are the only cranks you get ankle bite from but it is definetly more common.

Alrighty then I'll probably have them on Sun or Mon if my friend doesn't want them. They are the lavender ones so he's not sure if he likes them...

But how do you know it's the updated one?
And is it just me or does it seem silly that odyssey charge $$$ for replacement wedges, when they seem to break every second week?

That's one of my problems I don't know if it's the updated one since it was bought off ebay.

The cluster isn't meant to break by the way, it just doesn't make any difference if it is broken

Street rider

just take em, break em and then have them replaced.

any limited edition colours are the updated version, and the wedges are supposed to come apart. the are only held together by little tabs for convinience the first time you put your cranks on.
