For those of us who have no room in their garage (or place of living), wouldn't you like to have something like this for the backyard? They also sell a wallrack that looks interesting.

Is there a product out there like the safe available to us private citizens?

Those bicycle lockers are really cool. Having them placed in parking lots would allow more folks to bike to work.

They use these storage lockers at the MARC train stations here in Maryland. You can rent one for $70/year. Only problem is that you can never get a hold of the guy in charge of renting them.

I wonder if a smallish shed would work, or perhaps scale up the plans for a large doghouse. At the least, sink in some type of anchor (http://www.elitesecuritysupplies.com/ground_motorcycle_anchors_built_in.html) into cement, so a thief can't just smash a board or two and be off with your possessions.
