I took the bus to work today (normally I bike, of course!), because my wife is picking me up from work on our way to a cottage for the weekend.

I walked by two neighbours who happened to be outside, and the first thing both asked me was, "where's your bike?"

Guess I must be known as "the guy on the bike" or something. :)

I got the exact same response from some coworkers as I walked in from taking the bus today. I'm also leaving town today, straight from work. If they don't see the helmet on my desk they ask about it as well.

The Schwinn's at home the x-mart bikes in the storage room at work and I rode to work with a friend today. :(

I broke the bolt that holds the brake cable on last night when I was putting on new brake levers.

They're both up on their hangers in the garage today. Friday is drive in and restock the locker day.

I needed a rare recovery day yesterday and was asked many times "where's the bike?" & "didn't feel like getting wet today?" So I must also be known as - that guy - here... watch out, we're everywhere!

I just got my commuter back from the shop after getting it fixed up post-car hit. It is outside on the bike race, but I can see it out my window.. :love:

Mine's where it usually is: on the bike rack next to the loading dock entrance. Just walked past it a few minutes ago. It's not lonely today--there's also a Fuji Thrill there (with Performance panniers on it) to keep it company.

Mine's sitting at the end of the cube row. People around here give directions based on the bike. He's in the row past the recumbent bicycle...

:) I always read comments about locking your bike next to a nicer one to prevent the theft of yours.
I'm usually thinking, where would I find a bike rack that has another bike at all on it, let alone a nicer one?
The LBS does not count, btw...

mine is sitting in the bike room (used to be a bedroom...now it houses several bikes, a stand, tools and a unicycle.) here at home about 15 feet away from me.
