I'm interested in riding my first brevet this spring. For right now, I'm planning on doing a 200K and 300K brevet. Depending on how I do with these events, I may try my luck at the 400K and 600K. What I want to know is, what is the normal time allotted to complete the 200K, 300K, 400K, and 600K brevet's.

Thanks,
Tom

Total time (as well as the closing time of check points) are based on a slowest allowed average speed of 15kph, hence:

200k: 13h30min
300k: 20h
400k: 27h
600k: 40h

I think Csson is correct. I have the RUSA handbook in front of me so I will double check.

Yep, he is correct. And 75 hours for a 1000k.

BTW- this thread should be in the touring folder with all the other randonneuring discussions.
