California is covered in smoke from 700 wildfires (http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-fire24-2008jun24,0,4125169.story). I think the air is worse closer to where Siu and X are, but it's pretty bad in the bay as well. Worst air that I can remember. After my ride I did the breathe deep test and I felt OK, so I don't think I did too much damage to my lungs.

I've never experienced anything like that. :(

Caught a news show on it this afternoon - it basically stated how terribly dry CA is at the moment and more or less hinted to more in store :(

yikes, sounds like a monster of a forecast.
I'll stop complaining about it being so humid I can chew the air.

I haven't ridden since Wednesday because of the air quality warnings. Unhealthy for everyone, not just sensitive individuals. Screw it, I'm riding tomorrow. Not cycling is bad for my mental health.
