I purchased a Park Tool Repair Stand using Buy-it-now on eBay from USN.Inc. One of my gripes with eBay is the fugly shipping/handling charges that some Sellers try to charge. Unlike other vendors charging 29.00 or more for shipping on this particular item, USN.Inc was almost $10.00 less! I settled in for the anticipated 5 day wait and, to my delight, the Postman rang once with my package 2 Days Later! USN.Inc had upgraded my shipping method at no additional cost to me. Now they had my money and positive feedback. This is where the real Customer Service Challenge takes place!
On opening my Factory Box from Park Tool, I noticed some issues I addressed in the Mechanics Forum and sent out a email with questions to USN.Inc. Within an hour I had a response from Ron at USN.Inc expressing genuine concern and an offer to take back the merchandise no questions asked at their expense! This was after it was determined that the problem is probably a Manufacturer's issue, not a Store issue. How many times are we bounced back and forth between the Shop and the Manufacturer when it comes to resolving a problem? I've read several examples of this very scenario over the months I've been a member of bikeforums.com. If you are looking for a online Shop where Customer Service and Satisfaction is a Priority, give Ultimate Sports Nutrition a try.:geek:
