Not sure if anyone has a PB 1W yet. Apparently it's on sale and in stock on Amazon.com . Thanks to someone in another thread (forgot thier name) that showed me the 2W version in the PB 2008 catalog. Just looking at the catalog (on page 4) it seems to me that gray looking ring I suspect is aluminum to disipate the heat off the LED.

If anyone had one I'd like to hear about that. I own the 1/2W version and love it. The mounts on that are solid as I use it on my MTB (over the grips) and have taken it jumping the curbs, potholes, offroad, and on the road and it holds up solid. The light appears to be able to be water resistant as I am a fair weather rider and have only accidently been caught in a few showers and severe thunderstorm for about 5-10mins and the light still holds well dispite the amount of water on it.

Anyways thought I'd give some feedback on that 1/2W unit after owning it for about a year and a bit. :love:
