Any metalcore fans? That is bands such as Darkest Hour, Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, Emmure, For the Fallen Dreams, Caliban, ect.? I find the energy, vocals, and melody to be very satisfying and strong..stuff 'Nu-Metal' crap can't match. Can anyone reference any similar bands?

That's a fairly decent mix of awesome metalcore.

I don't listen to anything that can be labeled with "core" or "nu". I hate those damn labels. I just like to listen to good music...

Don't miss out on some good music simply because you don't like the "labels" associated with them. I agree, labels are lame. See beyond them, and just rock the f*ck out!

True true, I'll not dissagree as my taste in music is eclectic to say the least...

Of the bands listed above, Darkest Hour is pretty good, I'm pretty sure I've seen them live (opening up for another band)

I just listened to Misery Signals album "Of Malice and Magnum Heart" based on the recommendation of this tread and I am freakin' impressed. Am a really big fan of Poison the Well, and much of their earlier work reminded me of this album.
