So I went in a ride today with my gf. Some days she makes cycling sound easy, and is now telling me that I need to do more to exercise because it isn't taxing enough. So I finally convince her to go on a long ride :) It was great. Nice to have someone pace me too, as I normally start too fast and beat the heck out of myself. We ended up doing 50 miles at 13.7 mph, which would be pretty slow for me, the last 10 she was pretty beat up. Once we got home she showered and hasn't left bed yet.

I feel like I justified my hobby a bit more today. It was a good ride and we both enjoyed it. It was the first time I got caught in a thunder storm, which was nice because it really cooled things down. The nice part about the 50 miles is it gets us out of the congestion where we live. It is still on 55 mph highways, but with big shoulders and nice and open. Only one flat too. No Pics, but where I live isn't too exciting anyway.
