I've been asked to be a volunteer to escort groups of riders across the bridge. The ride sounds like fun. It's apparently the first time in many years that the Coronado bridge will be open to cyclists.

Oops, just read that the proceeds go to SDCBC, so I guess it's ok then.
BTW, this is a San Diego downtown-ish area ride; not the (Back?) Bay in OC. :)

yep, proceeds go to SDCBC...which I've heard is a good organization for cyclists advocacy and stuff like that...:p
and yes its a SAN DIEGO BAY ride...and I look forward to riding over the Coronado Bridge on my bike
