Hi my bike will becoming a 9speed in time and i was wondering when putting on my chain how many links should there be? i currently have 108 on my 8speed

As long as you don't increase the size of your chainrings or your cassette ratios you should use the same length.

so even though my 9speed cassette will be 11-32 and my cranks are 44/32/22 (just like now) the chain will have enough links to get around on the cassette?

Ummm, yeah, the only difference between an 8 speed and 9 speed is the width of the chain.

It should still work, the derailleur will just move forward farther in the 9th gear

ya my dad just explained it all to me AND HE DOESNT EVEN WORK AT A BIKE STORE! hes a tool maker and comes in VERY handy for bike stuff

Let me clarify. If your eight speed cassette is an 11-32, meaning 32 is your largest cog, and your nine speed is also an 11-32, with just one more cog in between, this will NOT affect your chain length, because your two critical lengths. (longest and shortest) are not affected.
