I have a walmart bike. And I would really like to ditch the kiddie blue and green for something more along the line of BLACK. I was planning on just painting with a rattle can and have had good results before, but this is aluminum. Ive heard its harder to paint. What do I need to do. the bike is clearcoated, so coudl i just scuff the clear up real good and prime paint it? Then it shoudnt be too different then any other bike right?

Also, would heat be a good way to get decals off, I need to get rid of those too.

Any suggestions?

thanks in advance

Just scuff the clear, wipe it down with a clean dry cloth, mask and spray.

Ok then, I was thinking of going in the area of gloss black for the stolen look. lol

Any ideas on what color i should paint it? Id be good if someone knew where to get REALLY cheap decals or something. I have a bike painted balck, but it doesnt look right because its all one solid color. So any ideas on a paint job?

Have fun with it. Make it a few different colors. Tape off designs...trick it out.

Black is just sooooooo boring ;)
