I have an older frame that has no mounts for disk brakes. I was wondering if there is an adapter readily availabe. I like the geometry of the frame and dont want to fork out money for a new frame right now.

Yes, but it is mucho $$ to convert over. If you want better braking on an older frame go to linear pull brakes. Good power and cheaper.
