Folding Bikes - Just bought new Downtube 9sp

Hello everyone. I just sold my GT Aggressor to buy a Downtube 9sp. I should be getting it in a few days. Cant wait to start customizing it. I love how it looks, almost like a mini dirt bike. :) , I will mainly use it at school. I will be transferring to a university in the fall and want to keep my bike in my room without getting in the way of anyone. Anyone have some cool mods they have pictures of to inspire me. Thanks!!!

Not sure if its cool, but I find fenders help immensly in wet conditions. Just don't put any streamers on ur bar ends!

Thanks all, can full suspension bikes have fenders? That would be cool if I ever need to go through a puddle or something.

Yes, they can. Fenders, as you probably know, mount to eyelets by the dropouts, and the brake bridge. The IXFS has a brake hole at the front, but no eyelets, and eyelets at the back, but no brake hole. 3 P clips fix this problem for you, and tonight, when I can check the sizes, I can tell you which you need.

I think he means that you should post some pics! I don't have any fenders yet, nor any spare money, though I do have suitable clips. I'll try to photograph how it works at the weekend.

It should be here by Tuesday according to downtube. Can't wait for the bike to arrive.
