"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Giro D'Italia

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
To me the Giro is harder than the Tour and it is for many riders. I am wondering and want to hear opinions on the Giro and predictions.

I have to agree with you that the Giro is tougher in the design of the course. But, the competition is tougher at the TDF. My pick for the Giro is either Casagrande, Simoni, or if he doesn't blow one day Tonkov.

They are both hard as the riders are all trying their hardest.
This could be the year for Bontempi's revenge. WTF?

Garzelli for the win. I know, I know, going out on a limb there but what the heck.

Easily the farthest-back resurrection I've seen here on BF.
Seriously- how many currently active members in the road forums had even heard of BF in '00?
AT- you got me looking back through a bunch of old Giro stuff- good on you, thanks for that!

9 years...that's a record. And it has a only-2-reply bonus

I believe the true measure in thread resurrection is how many reponses you can get before someone calls you on it. Only one here...

Ah, crap. I'm a sucker. But of course, my prediction was really for 2004.
