i've got a Cannondale that i've been unable to identify for quite some time...the vintagecannondale.com site info doesn't seem to ring true.
can anybody help?

she's got the head badge with the little 'house' drawing on it, which i'm guessing means she was made in the late '80s. the SN is 23083188032, which doesn't seem to fit into any of the decoders.

she's got suntour accushift 3040xcm shifters/derailleurs, dia-compe brakes, a nitto stem, itm 'mod. mondial' bars, and mistral wheels...most of which i assume aren't original components.
besides the 'cannondale' logo, only says 'hand crafted heat treated aluminum' and 'made in the usa.'

would sure appreciate some help!!

Can't tell you much about the model, but I can say it looks like a sport touring model with a relaxed geometry and likely decent clearance for fenders. Looks like it would make a good commuter.

Where did you find that serial number? It should be under the bottom bracket. If you found that one somewhere else, it's not real.

Cannondale did sell framesets too. You might not have any specific model.
