Classic & Vintage - Pedal and Toe Clip Identification

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just bought some rusty pedals and toe clips from ebay and would like to know exactly what these pedals and toe clips are and what bikes they were used on ('buy first ask later')...I bought them for the toe clips, which look like the clips pictured in the 1972 schwinn manual.
some of you may have seen it on ebay or the vendor might even cruise to these forums...thanks

don't expect high value here, but you could start by reading out anything that's written on the pedals and clips.
Another approach: if they turn well, put them on a bike and use them. If they don't either lube them or sell them - these will not become collectable IMO.
The missing dust caps, a common defect, further degrade the value and utility of the pedals.

no, not really interested in high value or collectability or re-sale value. I intend to remove the rust, make them shine and use the clips on my commuter fixed bike, just curious if anyone can say that they were the toe clips that schwinn used on any of their models or not. I'm trying to avoid buying nashbar toeclips. Aside from the sprockets I installed for the conversion, I would like to use parts used by schwinn...specifically the toe clips shown in the manual.
I just recently installed some hunt wilde bar tape and my next search wil be for some toe straps that schwinn used.
I'll do some googling on pedals...

Schwinn Approved parts almost always had "Schwinn Approved" printed on them somewhere.
