On Friday, July 11, cyclists will meet at Woodruff Park for a different kind of mass - Courteous Mass. Courteous Mass differs from Critical Mass in that it follows a planned route and all traffic laws. Courteous Mass is intended to demonstrate support for better bike facilities and safer traffic conditions, and is also a great opportunity for less-experienced cyclists to try riding on the streets and to just have fun. If you believe in a balanced transportation policy, join us!
Courteous Mass Bicycle Ride
Friday, July 11
Woodruff Park
Meet @ 6:00 PM
Leave @ 6:30 PM
Courteous Mass Tips:
Ride two abreast in the right lane on 4-5 lane roads
Ride single file in the right lane on 2-3 lane roads so as not to interfere with traffic flow.
Please allow faster cyclists ahead of you so they are not stuck behind during single-file stretches.
And as always, be courteous!
