Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Mavic CXP22+Formula, or Velocity Aero+Dimension?

(Yes, I searched and found nothing much on the velo aero+dimension combo :P)

I've narrowed my wheel choices down to two, surprisingly.

Choice #1: Mavic CXP22 rims laced to Forumla hubs (http://www.bicyclewheelwarehouse.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=79) for ~$165 after shipping.
Pros:
-I've read many things about the mavic cxp22s being a great, durable rim.
-All black (:D)
-Slightly cheaper option
Cons:
-Online purchase.. still going to have to get it tensioned/trued at LBS for ~$15

Choice #2: Velocity Aero rims laced to Dimension hubs (http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/WH308E01-Dimension+Track+W+Velocity+Areo.aspx?cc=CAD) for around $200, from my LBS
Pros:
-Dimension hubs higher quality than formula sealed (can anyone confirm/deny?)
-Bought from a local shop, they'll most likely tension/true for free, possibly throw on my cog/lockring without charge
Cons:
-More expensive
-Silver (I can manage..maybe :p)

Anyone care to share their $0.02 on my dilemma? :D

I'd say the Mavic with formula would be fine. Honestly Mavic rims are great and the Formula hubs will be just fine. Formula makes a ton of company's hubs. I have a set of Xero Lite XR1 wheels for my single speed bike and found out Formula makes the hubs, and i love them. I'd say save some cash and do the Mavics. I LOVE Velocity, don't get me wrong but you're right i have heard many good things of the Mavic CXP 22 rims.

Dimension hubs and formula hubs are of negligable quality difference.

I have the Formula/Mavic set. I'd recommend them, but you will have to have them tensioned and trued. I see you've budgeted for that so you're good.

So thats 3 for Mavic/forumla, and dimension hubs being of same quality as formula..

Anyone have any experience with the Aeros? I'm just curious at this point..

Looks like the mavics might win :)

you won't necessarily have to get it trued at the lbs, in fact i very much doubt you'll have to..
