So what's this fascination with foldable bikes? I don't think I got the memo...
I love bikes (all shapes and sizes) but was just wondering why the foldables are just so cool nowadays? I must admit that those Dahons look pretty sharp (especially in that green). :D

Well, I got mine because according to Metro policy, you can bring it on any bus or train at any time. For others, I think that since the oil crunch people have been looking at alternative ways of getting around, and foldies + public transportation are an attractive option.
Besides, they do look wicked cool!

Yeah it's the ability to take them on the train and bus...sort of a "thing of the future"...:)
