I was perusing over PWC's pages (again) and came across the news that Peter White will now carry Supernovas! http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/whats-new.htm

I am really really surprised by this because for the past few months I've been getting the impression that Peter White will not carry lights that are "symmetrical" in their output and that don't adhere to German regulations. I don't know what changed his mind but choice is good. :thumb:

Yeah, I just saw that as well. There was a conversation in his google group thing where he and 2-3 other people went round for round, and he kept on and on about how the Supernova was going to get people killed and a moraly responsible person would not ride with one, and now he is selling them.

I just don't like that guy at all.

Here was my last conversation with him.

Me: Hello Mr. White, I would like a set of wheels built by you, with the front built around a 3D71 Dynamo hub.

White: Ok

Me: I would prefer the 36 hole, but it appears no one has them at the moment.

White: Yeah, that is what this is.

Me: Oh, great, then I would like to go ahead with it. Velocity Areo Heat front and rear 36 hole, and XT rear and 3D71 front.

White: yeah, the front will be a 32 hole.

Me: Oh, you're out of the 36 hole 3D71's?

White: No, we have them, just in a 32

Me: Umm, do you have any of the 36 hole?

White: Yeah, that's what this is, I just leave some of them off.

Me: Can you lace them with all 36?

White: Yeah, but we're out of them right now.

Me: Mr. White, have you been hitting the Bailys already today?

White: No, I'm just an old cranky SOB who has absolutely zero people skills and am so dogmatic that it hurts to pee.

I fabricated the last 2 lines, but everything preceeding them are absolutely true.
