Is there anyone here from Phoenix that can recommend a shop to me? I live on the west side of town.

Swiss American has an active involvement in the community. I believe they are either west Cactus or West Bell.

I heartily recommend Golden Spoke Cyclery on the north side of Thunderbird, west of 75th Ave. John's a great guy to deal with, I've bought three bikes there so far and always get a discount.

Another good shop in another part of town is Exhale Bikes on the north side of Bell a few blocks west of the 17.

Swiss American is on the south side of Bell around 43rd Ave.

It's not on the west side, but bikebarn (36th st and indian school) is a nice little place with friendly staff.
