Does anyone know how this website works. I just went to the lounge where they were talking about beer and I wanted to make a post but it said that I wasn't allowed to. Am I supposed to pay or subscribe and at this point I am only allowed in certain areas of the site until I do so?

As far as I know, if you can post here you can post there.
However, if the section you were trying to post in was Politics & Religion then you have to obtain permission from the moderators to post there and I don't think they give permission until a member has been around for a month or so.
right on. thanks, it actually was politics and religion but they were talking about beer, some damn fine beers too and I can always talk about beer. Appreciate your help.

I like beer too. I would live in Belgium for the beer alone.

Yeah...see that NEVER in the column? That's because you have to be invited in...too many bad paperboys left the Times in the sprinkler or put out windows!

PS I wish they'd find a way to do the routine as a redirect instead and let the moderators sort it out directly.
Agreed. the beer and the chocolate. We have a pub here that has a Belgian bar upstairs. They have a great selection, but I had some even better ones in Amsterdam last year that I can't get here in Atlanta.
So how does one receive one of these invites?
