Bought this sucker today. Here are some pictures I took earlier and the description from the seller.
I'll look under the BB once I get home and try and find a serial number or more info.
Meanwhile, any ideas?
Description: I have a mid 80's bianchi giro that I converted to a fixed gear/ single speed. The frame is the real deal Italian made lugged reynolds steel frame with campagnolo cranks, brakes, velocity rims with high flange cartridge bearing fixed free hubs and continental gator skins. Everything is celeste from the frame to the bar tape to the seat to the cable housing. The frame is roughly a 52 cm.
Details I can gather
It's a Bianchi Giro. Campagnolo everything (except wheels). I guess not everything... the headset appears to be Miche. Not sure of the bottom bracket. Bars are 3ttt. Stem looks to be Shimano. Remnants of an X for what I would assume is XTR or some crap. Also, the little S and H from shimano's logo can sort of be seen scratched away from the stem. I was told that he sold the campy deraileurs and all of that, and so will assume probably the stem as well.

P.S. - It has a new wheelset. Velocity Deep V's laced on some run of the mill ben's cycle hubs. Flip flop in the rear. He also gave me a 53T chainring and the original rear brake stuff. A few tubes and some extras. Paid $350, was this reasonable?
Some of you might kill me for this, but I really want to have it blasted and painted/powdercoated. I can go either way... I know that powdercoating kind of ruins the definition of the lugs, but I'm not too sure what to do. All I know right now is that it has some pretty bad surface rust in a few spots which will hopefully go away (Hawaii isn't the nicest place for steel). Also, the drop bars need to go. I want to give drops a shot but these things feel like they belong on a childs bike, so small it seems.
Will post more details when I can! Hope you guys can help me identify this sucker!
