Foo - I can barely walk.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

awesome. I just got out of bed (after watching a pretty good finish of the Tour) I found every step is incredibly painful. I tried walking up the stairs and collapsed towards the top. This sucks. I'd much rather be able to ride my bike than walk, but right now, I can't do either.

If this isn't an emergency:
Anti-inflammatory drugs (Naproxen) to get you through the weekend. Medical attention on monday.
I hope you feel better.

I know how ya feel. I can't walk at all.
Ibuprofen does a nice job of getting rid of pain and swelling. Least it did for me after I had that titanium plate put in my leg.

If you want something homeopathic you might try celadrin I have had good luck with it

I've just taken the last of my ibuprofen, so it's time to head to the grocery store for food and drugs. I'll give celadrin a try, too. I have another chiropractic appointment on Tuesday, so I'm hoping to make it until then.
Ouch. Hope you make it for through the weekend and your chiropractor appointment goes well.
Is related to your thread trying to trade or sell your back?

I'm told heroin does a nice job too. Worth checking out.

yeah, it got really bad last night. I've been icing and that seems to help a bit, but this is still pretty rough.

Oh nasty.:( I did offer to trade my one with you - mine is not acting up at the moment.;)
When mine is really bad, I find that lying flat on my back on the floor helps to some extent.

Glad to hear you're doing ok right now. I was laying down last night, and it seems like that's what did me in.
Seriously - there is one back pain pill that's over the counter that allowed me to endure a good 2-1/2 month hardcore coccysx (sp) injury (I've done that stupid "bone" in sooo many times - hate it - but for some reason now - everytime I injure it - it takes longer - ARGH). Last time was a misplaced small jump over some steps, not anticipating some people walking down the other side - had to stop quick - too quick and clipped in - and then rock down a couple steps on my butt - ohh that sucked big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Dear dog - sitting in the chair at work sucked, laying down was fine but getting up was a grunting effort. And me, non medical person I, just suffered.
Ugh, advil - eh -ok, ugh asperin - blah. but there is one overthecounter help out there in a blue box (sooooo sorry that I don't remember the name) but I have to say - that helped - helped alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it wasn't something called "Backaid" either (have some now) - that had little effect.
Oooooommmmmmm - thinking that he should relax, have a beer - or two and lay on his stomach cause ....
::::sending many small happy peoples with big flappy freaking feet to go stomp on you -- lots::::
