Well, it happened. I've been riding around Chicago now for a little over a month. It was *totally* my fault. I had braked and skidded into a parked car and fell off and scraped up my knee. I did avoid the peds that were around. I'm still not exactly sure what happened-it's all kind of a blur. Yes, I did have on a helmet but I was in shorts. I got up, dusted myself off, checked the car (no damage) and off I went to a bit of applause!
