Wow that was a great finish. I felt tired just watching the breakaway guys sprint out the last k. Awesome stuff!

You guys are amazing. I used to think it was a joke but some people here actually believe that there's a huge French run anti-American conspiracy to get French riders in yellow and it involves everyone from the route planners to the drug labs.

The amount of anti-french venom here is amazing. If you hate them so damn much then just avoid watching their race and stick to your stupid, boring Tour of Georgia and Tour of California.

Unreal.

Laggard. He's back....and he's pissed off. :D

I wonder how much effort Menchov put in today to try and close the gap with his team, he may well suffer in the TT.

My local paper (Charente Libre (http://www.charentelibre.com/)) has this as an editorial:
(My translation and paraphrasing)

It's the 14th July come early. yesterday, the frenchman Samuel Dumoulin won the third stage of the Tour de France at Nantes, where his young compatriot Romain Feillu has donned the leadezr's yellow jersey. The two men led a successful escape from the first kilometer of the stage, in a group of four riders. In the provisional general standings, Feillu has 35 seconds advance on Longo before the first Time trial, over 29.5 kilometers at Cholet which will be held today. Full of happiness in his first yellow jersey with a smile glued to his face, he nevertheless felt yesterday that it is going to be "a bit close" to keep his leader's jersey.

Funny, no mention in a french paper of an American in the breakaway who came second in the stage.

As we say in France - "Cocorico!"

Newsmakers make news. They report whatever they want to sell news.

So what, he didn't win the stage and he didn't get the yellow, what do you want them to say?
I was looking in my paper and there is no mention of it either.
