Anyone able to give me some suggestions? I recently got a Dahon Speed D7 folder and now know every inch of Watermead Country Park and the riverside routes. I'm looking to go further afield on weekends but am new to this region. Anyone give me any pointers?

Oh yes, flatter routes are preferred as I'm still working on my stamina!

I used to ride lots while I was at University in Leciester. There are some great rides out towards Market Harborough and that direction. To be honest, that's the only area I explored as it was the most convenient country area to cycle to from where I lived (Evington). If you want routes, let me know - I have plenty.

Hi Chessbored. Just about to get back on the bike tomorrow after 15 years. I have lived in the Soar Valley villages all my life. Are you looking for road or off-road routes? Watermead is obviously all off-road so let me know and if I can come up with any help I will.
