Do they do anything? Call me ignorant, but I don't think they deserve their spot in the Tour. They're supposedly a Basque pro team, composed mostly of climbers, but I don't recall any climbing stages or jerseys being won by them lately.
I've also never seen one of their riders do anything but become a rolling chicane in the group sprint, and has a TV camera ever even followed one during a TT?

This is probably more true than anyone knows.

Until he ran afoul of the doping police in a real bizarre case (A sample positive, B sample negative, WADA irritated and B sample re-tested, now everything is being appealed) Iban Mayo was one of the better climbers in the peloton and a legit overall contender. He always seemed to have one bad day and lose his GC opportunity. He does hold the record for the Ventoux TT though.

Of course he's not racing right now and I don't know an awful lot about the E-E team otherwise.

the A, B, no let's try it again until we get it right test was when he was on saunier duval.

the ventoux time was during the dauphine libere.

Of course he's not racing right now and I don't know an awful lot about the E-E team otherwise.
