I am pretty sure Vista Lite is no longer in business, but does anyone have an idea where I could find a helmet mount for the old(er) halogen style lights? I have a set that I am thinking about getting/ making a NiMh battery set for it and would like make two helmet set ups, one each for me and my wife. I figure it will be pretty cheap to set up a 7.2v battery for each, since they are 6v lights.
Thank you,
Chris

They seem to be six years old with very bad reviews.

That is the same headlamp, but I have an even OLDER version that was Nicad only!
The light technology wasn't half what it is today when I bought the light system 12 years ago. I figure if I can score a helmet mount for cheap (FREE! I hope.) that I could have less than $100.00 for 2 helmet light set ups.
I just noticed that they became a division of Bell Sports (what a suprise!). I will give them a call.

Ron,
Thank you! I actually talked to Weber When Easton/ Bell told me about them.
I am now trying to decide if it is worth it toget the mount and new batteries.

Green814,
A place like 'Batteries Plus', 'Battery Experts' etc may be able to rebuild or upgrade your VLs if you still have the battery cases. Maybe for less money.

The NiCad batteries actually still work, although the run time isn't as long as it used to be, it isn't to bad. I was thinking of upgrading to NiMh (If they would be lighter and a little smaller) or even Li Ion due to the size. This is if it can be done cheap enough to justify due to the age of the lights. Even moreso with the new Night Rider Minewt usb that is about $100.00.
