Framebuilders - Buying Stainless Steel Lugs

Hi all,

I'm from Vancouver, BC I'm looking for a good Canadian source for stainless steel lugs. I'd perfer to keep purchasing within Canada as border and shipping fees will end up nickle and dimeing me to death.

You might give him a call and ask about a Canadian source.

I would also try Mike Barry at Mariposa. He will sell lugs, though it is probably, that he does chromed since it has a bunch of advantages, is more of a vintage thing, though I personally like the idea of a solid polished out lug in SS myself.

Yeah but look at how dull and fat they are. In real steel and chrome you could go thinner and shinnier, and stronger per weight. Just isn't my cup of tea. Also I would be to cheap to chrome the frame.

Ya, but stainless has a different look then chrome. It's something a bit different... I agree tho a steel frame will be stronger for its weight
